African Economic Research Consortium PhD Scholarships 2023 | Eligibility Criteria;

To be considered for AERC PhD Scholarships 2023, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Have applied to and been admitted to any participating university.
A minimum of Second Class Honors (Upper Division) or equivalent in Economics, Agricultural Economics, or related field from a recognized university.
Hold a Master’s degree (with coursework and thesis component) in Economics, Agricultural Economics, or related fields from an accredited university. Coursework should cover microeconomics, macroeconomics, quantitative methods and econometrics.
Evidence of engagement in economic management, research and/or training in the public sector would be an added advantage.
Women and applicants from post-conflict and fragile states (particularly the AERC PhD Bridge Program alumni class of 2017 and 2018) are encouraged to apply.
