It aims to identify concrete steps to improve ethics in practice in the context of smart cities and AI development.

 

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Coventry University Technology Research Scholarship, applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:

Applicants must be international students.

Applicants must have at least a 2:1 first degree in a relevant discipline/subject area with at least 60% marks in the project element or at least a 60% overall module average.
Plus
Applicants must have the ability to engage in cutting-edge research and complete a PhD within 3.5 years.
Applicants must have a minimum English language proficiency (IELTS overall minimum score of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component)

Application Procedures

How to Apply: Applicants interested in the scholarship have to complete the online application. All applications require complete supporting documents, and a covering letter. For pre-defined (nominated) projects, a supporting statement of up to 2000 words is required showing how the applicant’s skills and interests are relevant to the project.
